I think most of you noticed by now that I love purple. I like little accents in that colour around the house, not too much but just enough to notice them. So I couldn't resist to buy these plants when I've seen them in the shop. They were bought for a project that I had in my mind for some time. If you didn't see the finished project yet check it HERE

Flowers in wellies

It is Spring time, time for flower potting. So, why not try to put them in something different :)

If you have an old pair of wellies, why not use them as flower pots. Get some lovely plants that you like and when you have a little bit free time, create this beautiful feature for your garden.
Your kids will love to help out with this little project.

I think they look amazing, it is something different and I am sure if you have them in your garden everyone will comment on them. Enjoy your flower potting!!!

Flowers on Saturday week 20

We had such a lovely week recently and now with Easter weekend I just hope the Sun will stay with us.
Even though there is plenty flower blooming at the moment I decided to post a photo of a flower bouquet.
I love fresh cut flowers, they add to the look of the house. The ones that you can see, were at first in my living room, but their scent was so strong, filled the whole room and it was a bit too much for me ( well I am pregnant, so that's maybe why ) but I had to move them to the kitchen. They look beautiful there as well.

How to Make Glitter Eggs

Make this Easter Glitter Eggs. Here's how, simple quick tutorial.

Material you will need:

• styrofoam eggs
• PVA glue
• glitter - different colours
• barbecue sticks
• brush

attach the sticks to the eggs, it will be easier to put the glue and glitter on it

put  a thin layer of glue on the styrofoam eggs, make sure you don't have too much, otherwise it will start to run once you put the glitter, and you don't won't that to happen

Once your egg is covered with glue cover it with glitter, use different colours

And that's is. My daughter was helping me to make them and she had lots of fun, so go on create some glitter eggs

and one last thing, you can just live them on the sticks like I did or you can hang them, you can put them in the dish, it is up to your imagination how you going to display them.

Flowers on Saturday week 19

In my previous post you I showed you photos of flower buds from apple tree. We had beautiful, warm and sunny few days last week and they bloomed.

Nature

If you read my post yesterday you know I had some problems with my laptop, hopefully it's all fixed now. I brought my machine to work today and my manager had a go at restoring the system and it worked. I am so happy.Hopefully that's the end of my troubles. I can again edit my photos and upload them from my laptop. I can take part in the photo memes and today I am sharing two similar photos but edited in different ways, let me know which one do you prefer.
